Adarshabani Academy has a bright history of success and has a good reputation and faith in respect of duties and responsibility towards education since 1991. “Adarshabani” the name was given by the founder of the institute. It was started in a small piece of land at Gazole Thanamore in the junction of Shankarpur and N.S. Palli village of Gazol. At first it has been started with a coaching centre for class V to X standard students in 1990 at Gazole Bhitar Bazar area. Next year a small piece of land was purchased at Gazole Thanamore and a Nursery & Primary school opened in the name of Adarshabani Shishu Ashram. Later the name has been changed in 2006 as Adarshabani Academy during the starting of its high section school at Bagsarai village near NH-34. The school and its activities made encouraging results in this rural area. In 2008 a charitable Trust has been created in the name of Adarshabani Mission to run the institution in a organized way
In the year 2012 we established a Teacher Training College in the name of Adarshabani Teacher Training College at Bagsarai, adjacent to Adarshabani Academy. Now two Teacher Training courses are functioning as B.Ed. & D.El.Ed.
The founder of this institute Sri Ashutosh Sarkar was a teacher who served 22 years as Asst. Teacher in Old Malda K.C. High School (H.S.) and took VRS in the year 2017.
Adarshabani Academy always remains reputed in its field of service due to producing bright results in the district and state level state. The staff of the institution are dedicated and dutiful. The institute provides high quality cultural training to its students and observed annual cultural program each year. The management of the Trust believes in all round development of a child. We bear nation building outlook with wisdom and we believe in ‘Unity in Diversity’. Every student is trained for moral growth and discipline. We grow ordinary student into extraordinary performance in board exam. We do not compromise anything in exchange of education. Number of students is always restricted in each class to serve better.
The Trust Adarshabani Mission serves few social welfare programs when it appears essential as a social crisis like flood and other natural calamities and drinking water project as per capacity.
For the development of body, mind and soul physical activity is a prime need for the childhood development that is playing. There is a vast playground for the boys and girls. Different kinds of seasonal games are entertained here.
A new campus only for girls are being constructed separately where a sports complex for different exercise are being established. Its campus is vast, open aired, surrounded by green vegetation and clean and pollution free.
We always teach limited number of students though there is a rush of admission. We keep restricted admission for better service to the students for 30 years. Education is our first priority. Our next project is to open a H.S. school and an English Medium School.
